Collectors' Update, February 17, 2006
This newsletter provides updates on opportunities to purchase Schreckengost pieces, including original works, prints, and National Centennial related products.
Thank you for your continued interest in Vik’s amazing legacy. We have many exciting updates to announce for Vik's collectors and enthusiasts:
- Original Works: We have established relationships with the galleries and dealers who frequently traffic in Vik's aftermarket works, and we are using our website to share with you the watercolors, sculptures, pedal cars, toys, and ceramics we know to be currently on the market. This month we’re excited to announce several new watercolors as well as two sculptures. Serious collectors may wish to bookmark this page so you can watch as things come on and off the market.
- Vik's Sales History: On a related note, we are also posting sales figures for Vik’s pieces across all categories. Another must for serious collectors.
- Prints: As several folks have already noticed, we’ve added many open-edition prints to the website, including a section of Cityscapes, Cleveland Calendar prints, Still Life series, and Winter Scenes. We are offering these in standard 8x10” and 12x16” sizes. We are also releasing a few Signed, Limited Edition Prints, being sold in very small sets of 6 and 11.
- Centennial themed: We have added many new items related to the National Centennial Exhibition happening this spring and summer. T-shirts, posters, jazz bowl magnets, etc.—and we still have stuff coming.
- For those interested in posters and apparel: We have recently added many new designs in partnership with a company called Zazzle to bring you a greater degree of variety and flexibility. You will now be able to select from several new designs, and when you go to place an order you'll have a wide variety of colors, sizes, types, and formats for your posters and shirts.
Thanks again for your interest in Vik's work.
