On Thursday, April 27th, members will have the opportunity to take a full day tour of the Syracuse area. The buses will begin loading at the hotel at 8:15 AM, leaving promptly at 8:30 AM. We will visit several sites as outlined below. We will arrive at the Everson Museum of Art at about 4:00 PM. The tour of the museum is estimated to finish at 5:30PM. The buses will return to the hotel about 6PM. "The Viktor Schreckengost National Centennial Exhibition" at the Everson: Never has the modern world seen a legacy of this breadth and depth, so an equally unprecedented centennial tribute - matching the scale and far-reaching influence of Schreckengost's legacy - will celebrate his 100th birthday. A series of 100 exhibitions of Viktor Schreckengost's works will open around the United States during the 100 days leading up to his centennial day, June 26, 2006. The Everson Museum is one of the one hundred cites scheduled to host an exhibit of Viktor's art.
