CLEVELAND HEIGHTS (December 22, 2005) – The Viktor Schreckengost Foundation (http://www.viktorschreckengost.org/) announces the addition of a communications position to their employee roster. Philip Barr was hired as the communications director, a previously unfilled post.
With an agency and publishing background, Mr. Barr is skilled at public relations, media buying, event planning and copywriting. He formerly worked as an account executive at Hybrid Marketing, where he provided public relations, advertising and strategic marketing services for DANCECleveland, Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, Ursuline College and Kalahari Waterpark Resort, among others. Barr attended The Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium and has a B.A. in English from The University of Akron.
The Viktor Schreckengost Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to conserving, cataloguing and sharing the works of Viktor Schreckengost (b.1906) – an award-winning artist and pioneer of modern industrial design. The Foundation was founded in 2003 by Viktor’s stepson Chip Nowacek and currently maintains a full-time staff of eight and six part-time employees.
