Preserving the legacy of Viktor Schreckengost for the benefit of today and the future.
Sketch of cab-over-engine design
For over 70 years, Viktor produced a tremendous amount of original artwork, including: ceramics, sculpture, oil paintings, water colors, drawings and sketches. As an Industrial Designer, he also created many hundreds of product design concepts, many that became manufactured products. Hardly a day went by that he didn't create something … and save it.

One of the important activities of the Viktor Schreckengost Foundation is the task of conserving his life's work. Today, that means preservation and sometimes restoration of his fine art and especially, the creative process that accompanied each of his works: his drawings and sketches. This conservation effort assures that students and scholars are able to study Viktor's works and, perhaps as importantly, his creative process, for many years to come.
